The Henry Plumb Foundation

The Henry Plumb Foundation funds young people to realise their dreams of a career in agriculture and the food industry. It provides financial and mentoring support to 18-35 year olds with interests, business ideas and study plans that will lead to a career in the agricultural or food industry. Funding ranges from £500 - £3,000 for individuals with a compelling business plan, overseas exchange, internship or course or event that will further their path towards a successful career.

Lord Plumb Henry set up the foundation in October 2012 and it is well on its way to reaching its £2 million target. He is a strong believer that those with energy and enthusiasm deserve support to help them make the big break.

All of the money raised is used to fund individual grants with the aim to sponsor around 24 people a year, to date we have already awarded more than 25 grants with some inspirational projects currently being reviewed.
