Who we are
The college in Northern Ireland was formed by the amalgamation of Enniskillen, Greenmount and Loughry Colleges. The delivery of land-based programmes at Loughry and Greenmount dates back for almost 100 years.
What we do.
Courses at CAFRE will provide the necessary knowledge and skills to start or further a career in the food and land-based sectors. Study tours form an important part of College programmes and provide an opportunity to see the latest technology and make contacts with the key players in industry. Job prospects can also be enhanced whilst studying by achieving complementary qualifications that will add to your employability.
Courses at CAFRE are available on both full-time and part-time basis and have been designed to help the progression onto a higher level on completion of the qualification. There are details about progression opportunities, complementary qualifications and much more in each course profile. There are excellent prospects after completing your course at CAFRE, 97 percent of students gain employment or progress onto further education within 6 months of completing their course.
