The Trust concerns itself with the production and utilisation of animal feed. Annually, a scholarship is awarded an annual scholarship for a project which must relate to farm animal feeding including animal nutrition and management, feed production and marketing (i.e. milk, meat or eggs).

Applicants must be students of an agricultural (or related) discipline or animal, feed industry employees, resident in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland.
