BASIS is an independent organisation committed to raising professional standards across land management and food production by supporting people and businesses with our industry leading qualifications, professional registers and auditing schemes.

BASIS Registration Ltd, is a registered charity, and designated Awarding Body. We manage a portfolio of circa 50 certificates accredited at levels 2 to 6 which are delivered through a network of universities and independent trainers to provide degree level qualifications and a career pathway for its members and new entrants to the agronomic sector.

Additionally, BASIS operates Continuing Professional Development Registers of Agronomists, Advisers, Pest Technicians and Sprayer Operators totalling over 30,000 members, and audits over 1,600 distributor pesticide store.
