Moulton College

Who we are:

Moulton is a College of Further and Higher Education and an exempt charity. Our main campus extends to 500 hectares and is located on the northern edge of Moulton village, five miles from the centre of Northampton. We offer courses from pre-entry to doctorate level, specialising in the 'Natural, Built and Recreational Environment'.

The College has around 3000 full-time and 5000 part-time students and employs approximately 750 staff.

What we do

We offer a wide range of full and part-time courses in agriculture, animal welfare and management, arboriculture, countryside management, equine studies and horticulture to support education and training for the landbased, construction and leisure industries. Funded research projects are carried out by teaching staff and post-graduate research students.

Moulton also encourages the development of life skills by students with moderate/severe learning difficulties and disabilities and contributes to environmental education for primary age children.

We provide a limited number of business incubator units that are rented to start-up businesses on a subsidised basis for up to two years. These new businesses are supported by free central reception and administration services.

The College observes best practice with respect to equality and diversity, health and safety and the safeguarding of minors and vulnerable adults.
